    Hi,
    I have some queries on RAC 11gr2 on Linux platform
    we are migrating our storage from HP EVA to Hitachi HDS storage.
    i have been provided all the new disks and i have added those disks to all the disk groups available.
    DG’s are as follows:
    SQL> show parameter asm

    NAME TYPE VALUE
    ———————————— ———– ——————————
    asm_diskgroups string REDO_1, REDO_2, ORADATA, ORAFL
    ASH
    SQL> select GROUP_NUMBER,NAME,STATE,TYPE,VOTING_FILES from V$ASM_DISKGROUP;

    GROUP_NUMBER NAME STATE TYPE V
    ———— ————— ———– —— –
    1 OCR_VOTING MOUNTED EXTERN Y
    2 ORADATA MOUNTED EXTERN N
    3 ORAFLASH MOUNTED EXTERN N
    4 REDO_1 MOUNTED EXTERN N
    5 REDO_2 MOUNTED EXTERN N

    re balance is completed successfully.
    now can you please let me know the exact steps which needs to be taken care here.
