    asm_diskgroups string REDO_1, REDO_2, ORADATA, ORAFL
    ASH
    SQL> select GROUP_NUMBER,NAME,STATE,TYPE,VOTING_FILES from V$ASM_DISKGROUP;

    GROUP_NUMBER NAME STATE TYPE V
    ———— ————— ———– —— –
    1 OCR_VOTING MOUNTED EXTERN Y
    2 ORADATA MOUNTED EXTERN N

Database Creation complete. for details check the logfiles /u01/app/oracle/cfgtoollogs/dbca/cabdabuat
      Global database Name: Cabdabuat
      System Identifier(SID)prefix: Cabdabuat
      Server Parameter File name: +DISK2/cabdabuat/spfilecabdabuat.ora

BUT when I try logging in, i get
      Connected to an idle instance
      SQL> startup
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters
LRM-00109: Could not open parameter file ‘u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/cabdabuat.ora’

        Hi,

While connecting to database it’s looking you have not specified parameters for the Oracle os user.
Your db name is Cabdabuat. While connecting from Node1 you do,
        Export ORACLE_SID=Cabdabuat1
        Export ORACLE_HOME=
        than connect surplus
        SQL>connect sys as syadba

Hope it will help , let me know if you still have a problem.

        Thanks
